I've been eyeing antique pin cushions lately where someone's name or a message was painstakingly spelled out in pins

with the initials of the artist

Perhaps to be a mini planter

and finely done--to my eye this vase is pretty close to a perfect thing

but I assume an image of/by Rose herself

Perhaps, appearing to be standing atop a classical pillar or pedestal, this was meant to be Heracles but, long and lanky, he looks rather more like Robinhood to me!
